Laser, 3D Printer, and an Onion, OH MY!
Feb 6, 2010
How could I not post a quick note about this one!? It is the 3D equivalent of time lapse photography. IN this case a laser scans the growing onion plant every 24 hours and then the 3D printer creates a plastic model and places it on the conveyor to create a series of 3D "snapshots" of the growth of the plant. What a great example of how new technology can enhance and promote creativity and learning. What's not to like!?
