I've been following the various eReader hyperbole for a long time, including this recent entry called the Skiff, (interestingly developed by newspaper publisher Herst) but I just came across this shot that gave me pause. According to the specs available for the Skiff it "comes with a sleek magnesium casing" so degree of bending seems rather remarkable. Anyone else know more about this?
Other than preventing it from breaking, reducing glare, I'm not sure the flexibility is a big factor for me, but if it ends up we can make these even more paper like and fold these devices, that's another story!
The methods outlined here are largely based on those which have been developed by the US Army.
